with Tri More Fitness!
Tri More Fitness is leading three, 1-day clinics leading
up to this event.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
The Tri More Fitness Training Camps for the Marin County
Triathlon are one-day, comprehensive clinics and training
camps for individuals who are new to the sport, as well
as those who have some experience but want a refresher
on the basics. The TMF Camp provides a comprehensive introduction
to the sport in a supportive, non-intimidating environment.
Those with more experience should consider our Training
Camp for Intermediate and Advanced Triathletes.
WHERE IS THE CAMP HELD?
The TMF Triathlon Training Camp for the Marin

venue in Marin. McNears Beach CountyPark is located on
the southwest shore of San Pablo Bay, about three miles
from downtown San Rafael, Marin County. The park is easily
reached from Highway 101, a forty-minute drive north from
San Francisco by way of the Golden Gate Bridge. From Highway
101, take the Central San Rafael exit and go east on Second

Lectures will be held outdoors in the park itself. Swim,
bike and run training will take place on the actual course.

HOW MUCH TRAINING WILL
I DO?
The amount of training you do is really up to you. The
camp runs from 7am to 3pm. Depending on the fitness level
of each participant the distance of the swim, bike and
run may vary. The course is out and back for the bike
and run, therefore we can adjust distances based on each
individual’s needs. For the bike session, you may
choose to ride up to 40k on the race course. For the run
session, you may choose to run up to 10k on the course.
Printed maps and descriptions will be available on-site.
Several groups may be formed based on ability and fitness
levels. These sessions are intended to be easy, aerobic
efforts. Don’t be concerned about not being able
to keep up. NO ONE gets dropped during these sessions.
There will be plenty of others riding and running at your
speed!!
